FABruary style challenge: Wear a dress.

For the 4th day of february, the FABruary style challenge suggests to wear a dress.
Here is mine, a but too dressy for work maybe, but I loved it anyway:

Dress - Project for Upim
Cardigan - Conbipel
Turtleneck - Tezenis
Tights - Tezenis
Boots - Nero Giardini
Necklace - random store in Holland

This dress is more than 4 years old, and still one of my most beloved pieces. I bought it because it fit as if it was cut and sewn for me - doesn't happen so often.
I kept the whole outfit gray and black, except for my brown boots. I think they add a nice unexpected touch. And I love my new necklace!

Taking Stock

  After a long hiatus, I decided to start writing again... I don't expect anyone to really be reading, but I just love so much going through my old entries, it's a sort of treasured diary. The image above was taken on April 25th (bank holiday here), during our bike ride at the Aqueducts park in Rome. Such a beautiful day! So much has changed since last time I wrote here, I don't know where to start. So I start by taking stock! Making:  eggplant pesto. As requested by my girl, who loved it last summer. I stopped doing it during the winter, as eggplant were not so good, but husband found some nice ones and as I write they are in the oven. Drinking : water and more water. The sparkling one, thanks! Watching : videos (youtube and instagram) on home and food organizing, fitness, and, of course, makeup. Love Love Love Johnny Ross ! Reading : Minimalism , by Gwyneth Snow. BDIB - Arm Party!

  This is my second time participating in the Bloggers Do it better series.  This time, the theme is " Arm Party ". And I am glad Kristina had this idea, because it pushed me to take out and wear my bangles...  I wore this outfit - it's an exact repetition, so I didn't take pictures.  And here is the arm Party! I bought the six striped bangles during my trip to Corsica, 20 years ago. They are six like the letters that compose my name.The brown one is from a store in Buffalo. The thin one is even older, it's about 25 years old! A classmate gave me a bunch of them (it was the 80's and Madonna was just starting to get famous) and I somehow managed to keep this one through the years. Now I want to start wearing all the other bangles I have, too!
