Today's outfit was entierely picked up by husband. Well, almost, since he didn't say anythingabout tights. Yesterday night I  couldn't decide what to wear today (I pick up my outfit the night before), and he suggested this very simple combination of white sweater and black pencil skirt. So simple I hadn't thought about it!
I wore this to go to work, to go to yoga class (not DURING yoga class) and to have dinner with a friend. It's pretty comfortable!
Since husband didn't say anything about the tights, for a moment I considered wearing my burgundy ones. Then I decided I preferred to keep the outfit simple only black and white.

Today's FABruary style challenge was about statement rings. Unfortunately, I don't own any, since I find them very uncomfortable to play music. The only rings I wear is my wedding band and the ring my husband to be gave me three days before we got married:

Not too big, but in my opinion it's a statement nonetheless!

Taking Stock

  After a long hiatus, I decided to start writing again... I don't expect anyone to really be reading, but I just love so much going through my old entries, it's a sort of treasured diary. The image above was taken on April 25th (bank holiday here), during our bike ride at the Aqueducts park in Rome. Such a beautiful day! So much has changed since last time I wrote here, I don't know where to start. So I start by taking stock! Making:  eggplant pesto. As requested by my girl, who loved it last summer. I stopped doing it during the winter, as eggplant were not so good, but husband found some nice ones and as I write they are in the oven. Drinking : water and more water. The sparkling one, thanks! Watching : videos (youtube and instagram) on home and food organizing, fitness, and, of course, makeup. Love Love Love Johnny Ross ! Reading : Minimalism , by Gwyneth Snow. BDIB - Arm Party!

  This is my second time participating in the Bloggers Do it better series.  This time, the theme is " Arm Party ". And I am glad Kristina had this idea, because it pushed me to take out and wear my bangles...  I wore this outfit - it's an exact repetition, so I didn't take pictures.  And here is the arm Party! I bought the six striped bangles during my trip to Corsica, 20 years ago. They are six like the letters that compose my name.The brown one is from a store in Buffalo. The thin one is even older, it's about 25 years old! A classmate gave me a bunch of them (it was the 80's and Madonna was just starting to get famous) and I somehow managed to keep this one through the years. Now I want to start wearing all the other bangles I have, too!
