This is my Saturday outfit. I had lunch with a friend, then went to run some errands in Rome. The cardigan is one of my last buys - I needed some layering pieces, and I think grey it's a good color - it'a actually an almost silvery shade. When it's warmet I am going to wear it over a tank top, I think.

My Sunday outfit. I just took a walk in the town, and I am about to go to my mom's for lunch. It's colder in the town where she lives, hence the heavier cardi. I bought it during the summer of 2009, I think, but I find it a great layering piece also for mid-season. Plus, violet matches lots of my clothes...
I am planning on pulling out other layering pieces from my wardrobe, today, before I just go buy some. I remember some of them, but I am sure I'll find something I completely forgot about.
And yes, I have shorter hair: one of my Saturday's errands consisted of getting a haircut. My head was becoming an unmanageable bush...

Taking Stock

  After a long hiatus, I decided to start writing again... I don't expect anyone to really be reading, but I just love so much going through my old entries, it's a sort of treasured diary. The image above was taken on April 25th (bank holiday here), during our bike ride at the Aqueducts park in Rome. Such a beautiful day! So much has changed since last time I wrote here, I don't know where to start. So I start by taking stock! Making:  eggplant pesto. As requested by my girl, who loved it last summer. I stopped doing it during the winter, as eggplant were not so good, but husband found some nice ones and as I write they are in the oven. Drinking : water and more water. The sparkling one, thanks! Watching : videos (youtube and instagram) on home and food organizing, fitness, and, of course, makeup. Love Love Love Johnny Ross ! Reading : Minimalism , by Gwyneth Snow. BDIB - Arm Party!

  This is my second time participating in the Bloggers Do it better series.  This time, the theme is " Arm Party ". And I am glad Kristina had this idea, because it pushed me to take out and wear my bangles...  I wore this outfit - it's an exact repetition, so I didn't take pictures.  And here is the arm Party! I bought the six striped bangles during my trip to Corsica, 20 years ago. They are six like the letters that compose my name.The brown one is from a store in Buffalo. The thin one is even older, it's about 25 years old! A classmate gave me a bunch of them (it was the 80's and Madonna was just starting to get famous) and I somehow managed to keep this one through the years. Now I want to start wearing all the other bangles I have, too!
