Excited!


I am waiting for the last 50 minutes of the work-week to pass, then I am on to weekends activities!
I'll have some exciting events coming up.

  • An invitation for two persons for a vernissage for an art exibition: "From Corot to Monet" - of course, it's about Impressionism. I am so happy, because it's the first time I go to a vernissage! Hope I'll be able to take lots of pictures!
  • My music exam tomorrow. They'll ask me to play something, and some theory... can't say I am totally relaxed about this, and can't wait for it to be over...
  • Dinner tomorrow night: we are celebrating boyfriend's birthday, which was last Wed. I'll have to cook, and I am happy I'll have friends over.
  • And in between... I need to get some sleep. And I want to spend some relaxing time reading a book...
  • Also, I have a small project I want to start, but I haven't had time yet.

Taking Stock

  After a long hiatus, I decided to start writing again... I don't expect anyone to really be reading, but I just love so much going through my old entries, it's a sort of treasured diary. The image above was taken on April 25th (bank holiday here), during our bike ride at the Aqueducts park in Rome. Such a beautiful day! So much has changed since last time I wrote here, I don't know where to start. So I start by taking stock! Making:  eggplant pesto. As requested by my girl, who loved it last summer. I stopped doing it during the winter, as eggplant were not so good, but husband found some nice ones and as I write they are in the oven. Drinking : water and more water. The sparkling one, thanks! Watching : videos (youtube and instagram) on home and food organizing, fitness, and, of course, makeup. Love Love Love Johnny Ross ! Reading : Minimalism , by Gwyneth Snow. BDIB - Arm Party!

  This is my second time participating in the Bloggers Do it better series.  This time, the theme is " Arm Party ". And I am glad Kristina had this idea, because it pushed me to take out and wear my bangles...  I wore this outfit - it's an exact repetition, so I didn't take pictures.  And here is the arm Party! I bought the six striped bangles during my trip to Corsica, 20 years ago. They are six like the letters that compose my name.The brown one is from a store in Buffalo. The thin one is even older, it's about 25 years old! A classmate gave me a bunch of them (it was the 80's and Madonna was just starting to get famous) and I somehow managed to keep this one through the years. Now I want to start wearing all the other bangles I have, too!
