A couple of outfits...

... because I didn't really take so many pictures this week.

This was to go out for dinner on sat night, at a friend's house:
Faux.wrap dress, Sandro Ferrone
Tights, Upim
Boots ?
Necklace, Target
Earrings, colleague's mom
I don't wear this dress so much, because it is too dressy for everyday, but I really like the colors and the bat sleeves... Same for the boots: they are really comfy, the heel is not too high, but they don't get the deserved wear for some reason...

Necklace, gift from sister
I am always on the verge of getting rid of this cardigan, by selling it. I had this thought when  wore it for the above outfit, but looking at the picture I kind of like how it fits... I can't decide!

I vote for keeping the cardigan Chiara. It fits you really well and the colour is good. What don't you like about it? Sometimes items of clothing do that - you don't know what it is about them that makes you not want to wear them! And sometimes a photo changes your mind...

Taking Stock

  After a long hiatus, I decided to start writing again... I don't expect anyone to really be reading, but I just love so much going through my old entries, it's a sort of treasured diary. The image above was taken on April 25th (bank holiday here), during our bike ride at the Aqueducts park in Rome. Such a beautiful day! So much has changed since last time I wrote here, I don't know where to start. So I start by taking stock! Making:  eggplant pesto. As requested by my girl, who loved it last summer. I stopped doing it during the winter, as eggplant were not so good, but husband found some nice ones and as I write they are in the oven. Drinking : water and more water. The sparkling one, thanks! Watching : videos (youtube and instagram) on home and food organizing, fitness, and, of course, makeup. Love Love Love Johnny Ross ! Reading : Minimalism , by Gwyneth Snow. Will need to start applying the suggestions, though! Enjoying : working from home 3 days a week. Makes me even

BDIB - Arm Party!

  This is my second time participating in the Bloggers Do it better series.  This time, the theme is " Arm Party ". And I am glad Kristina had this idea, because it pushed me to take out and wear my bangles...  I wore this outfit - it's an exact repetition, so I didn't take pictures.  And here is the arm Party! I bought the six striped bangles during my trip to Corsica, 20 years ago. They are six like the letters that compose my name.The brown one is from a store in Buffalo. The thin one is even older, it's about 25 years old! A classmate gave me a bunch of them (it was the 80's and Madonna was just starting to get famous) and I somehow managed to keep this one through the years. Now I want to start wearing all the other bangles I have, too!
